We did have a chat feature in the past - I believe the problem was that it requires a constant moderator or it gets out of hand. We will look into it.

Thanks for looking in to newer software for us. This site seems a bit antiquated.

Everyone is so nice here; I like it a lot but the slowness is a big deterrent as well as no email replies.
I go to many forums and count on replies to even remember what forums I go to some days.. lol
As a caregiver, a message board has to be easy and quick.

This forum has the potential to be a really great place for a lot of people; and it is getting attention in magazines; but honestly I don't know how many people will actually stick around if they constantly lose posts or have to wait 5 minutes for a page to load. I opened 4 posts 30 minutes ago & had to walk away it was taking so long.

I hope no one takes this as anything but free advice. I'm not posting it to hurt anyone's feelings & know that as someone new I should just keep my mouth shut. There's so much to offer here, but what good is the info & links if people can't access it quickly?

Feel free to move my post out of here if need be. I was going to start a post in the correct section the other day with my thoughts as a new person that needs a place like this but had issues with pages loading so I never got to post it.

If you groups or pages you like to be fans for, I have a couple of suggestions to join on the Facebook, which I think would benefit the caregivers and caring for self.

They are:

Self Love Studio: Christine Arylo

The I Tribe - A Revolution In Human Empowerment

Check it out on the Facebook and let me know what you think of these two sites.

I found another page (or is it a group?) on the Facebook on Self Care which I think would apply to us.
Again check this out. What do you think?

Madly in Love with ME
