I was the primary caregiver for my husband Doug from the mid 1980's until he died at the age of 53 in 2000. He had diabetes and all of the side effects of the disease.

MS Physical Education - Lehman College 1974
MS School Counceling - University of Bridgeport 1986
I spent 34 years in the NYC school system as a teacher and then as a guidance counselor. I loved it!
I was a Well SPouse Assn. board member in the 1990s, the New England Regional Support Group Coordinator.
I was a Local Support Group Leader, Co-President WSA for 4 years and proof reader for the Mainstay.
I was on the National Conference Board for Rhode Island and White Plains, NY.
I have been an active member of WSA since I went to my first WSA National Conference in Cherry Hill in the 1990s.
WSA saved my life!
I have stepped away for a few years but would like to help in any way I can.
WSA is a vital organization and I want to see it grow and be able to continue to offer support vital to Well Spouses.
