Advocating for Spousal Caregivers

A key part of WSA's mission is to help the general public and policymakers understand the challenges of the well spouse population. Our Social Action Committee advocates for WSA members on issues that matter to our community.

HHS/ACL's RAISE Council releases National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers

WSA encourages spousal caregivers to submit comments in support of Federal, State, and Local Actions that support the needs of our community. Comments will be accepted through November 30, 2022.

Increased Funding for Home Care

Increased funding for home care is a good example of an issue that needs Senate attention—now. The Social Action Committee urges all well spouses to contact their Senators about this important issue.
