To Sunday, November 15, 2026 - 06:00pm

Conference registration early bird

The full agenda will be released soon, but here’s a glimpse of what’s in store at our annual conference.

This year's conference brings our community together online for two afternoons of speakers, workshops, interactive events and activities built around the wellspouse experience. We are so excited to let you know that we have fantastic speakers lined up and the event is coming together wonderfully!

Meet some of our speakers:

  • Dr. Toni Boulware Stackhouse, Ed.D, LCPC-S, NCC (Dr. Tabs). She’ll speak to our community as a professional therapist and fellow well spouse about the Two-Track Life of spousal caregivers: being a life partner and a caregiver at the same time.
  • Pamela D. Wilson, of The Caring Generation® Podcast. A caregiving expert, advocate, and speaker, Pamela is ready to share what she knows about speaking up. She’ll help you be heard by doctors, hospital staff, and insurers when you know your partner’s care better than anyone in the room, and show you how to advocate without becoming “the difficult spouse.”
  • Former governor Martin Schreiber. After his wife, Elaine, was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease, he became a national advocate for dementia caregivers and wrote My Two Elaines: Learning, Coping, and Surviving as an Alzheimer’s Caregiver. We’re glad to welcome him back to WSA to share the strategies and emotional lessons he learned along the way.
  • Todd Jarger. A former well spouse and advocate, Todd speaks about “Who Am I After Caregiving?”, for former well spouses and those facing a care facility placement. He’ll talk about rebuilding identity, routine, and community when the role that defined your days changes or ends. As Todd says, “Sometimes, the strengths that helped us survive aren’t the ones we need to thrive. Embrace change and let go of past identities to grow into who you’re meant to be.”
  • And more...stay tuned!

Full agenda coming soon. We plan on having a weekend filled with learning, connecting, and fun in between so come ready for:

  • Caregiving Bingo. Tap into the moments only caregivers know, and laugh about them together.
  • Caregiving Tip Exchange. Share what’s worked for you, and take home ideas from people who live this too. This session will include some raffles and prizes!

Come for one session or stay for both afternoons. We’d love to see you there.
